week. According to the latest forecast, the maximum temperature on Sunday reached 31.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum dropped to 25.6 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels were recorded at 83%, and no significant rainfall was observed in Chennai over the past 24 hours. Sunrise was at 06:05 and sunset at 17:40, with moonrise at 21:33 and moonset at 09:58.
Chennai Weather 7-Day Forecast: Warm Days, Slight Rain Chances
The city is expected to remain warm over the next seven days, with maximum temperatures ranging from 32 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius and minimums around 26 degrees Celsius.From 9th to 13th November, partly cloudy skies are likely, with one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms each day. Light rain and generally cloudy conditions are forecast for 14th and 15th November. Authorities have not issued any weather warnings so far.
Return of Rains in Coastal Tamil Nadu
While moderate to slightly heavy rains may continue over southern districts due to the influence of the Trough of Low over the South Bay, coastal areas including Tiruvallur and the Delta region may see a gradual return of rainfall as the trough shifts westwards, according to a solo forecaster on X by the username ‘Chennai Rains. The return of moist Easterlies is expected to take a couple of days more, maintaining slightly unstable weather across the region.
