As the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam is approaching. Google has announced that students can use Gemini for free practice tests
for their upcoming medical exams. This will enable them to take mock tests on Gemini and gain a better understanding of their preparation, helping them identify areas where they need to improve. Google stated in a post that "Students can also prepare for the NEET UG exam in the Gemini app. We have grounded practice tests in rigorously vetted high-quality content from our partners. This helps ensure that students are not just practising — they're preparing with material that more closely resembles what they’ll see on test day.” With this, students can move beyond just solving questions to experiencing exam-like simulations, receiving more structured and relevant preparation directly within Gemini. To access the NEET mock exam, all you need to do is simply ask Gemini by saying, 'I want to take a NEET mock exam.' Gemini will then provide a complete mock question paper designed to match the actual exam format, giving students a realistic test-taking experience and helping them prepare more effectively for NEET. It’s important to note that this feature is currently available only in English. Similar to the JEE Main mock tests, the AI is expected to help students identify their mistakes and understand where they went wrong. Also, students can ask Gemini to explain concepts step-by-step, making it easier to learn from errors and improve their overall preparation. Note- The NEET UG mock tests are available free of cost to all Gemini users. Google has stated that anyone with a Google account, whether personal or through Google Workspace, can access these practice tests directly on the Gemini app. The feature has already started rolling out and is currently available for both rapid release and scheduled release. Earlier this year Google, in collaboration with The Princeton Review, launched practice tests for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) exam in Gemini, the artificial intelligence (AI) platform of Google. These full-length, on-demand practice exams were made available free for the students.
