The South Western Railway has announced the introduction of Holi special trains f rom Bengaluru to Bengal, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand to accommodate the surge
in passenger demand during the Holi festival. These special services aim to facilitate easier travel for individuals wishing to visit family or partake in celebrations across various regions.

Weekly Train Service to Kalaburagi
In addition to the express service, a weekly train will run between Bengaluru Cantonment and Kalaburagi. This route serves as a vital link for travellers from northern Karnataka, allowing them to return home or visit friends and family during the festive season.
Bengaluru and Kolkata Special Train
For those heading towards eastern India, a special train will connect Yelahanka in Bengaluru to Santragachi in Kolkata. This service enhances direct travel options between southern and eastern India, accommodating the needs of passengers looking to attend family gatherings or celebrations during Holi.
