What is the story about?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 1 from January 21, 2026. The agency has already released
the hall tickets for the January 21, 22, 23, and 24 exams. Hall tickets for the January 28 and 29 exams will be released this week on nta.ac.in. Lakhs of candidates scheduled to appear in the session 1 exam can check exam day guidelines and documents to carry to the exam hall.

What to Carry and What Not to Carry?
On the exam days, registered candidates will have to carry these documents to exam hall:- Printout of the admit card on A4-size paper along with the self-declaration (undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website.
- One passport size photograph (it should match with one uploaded on the online application form). It should be pasted on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the center during the examination.
- Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original)
- PwD/PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer (If one is claiming relaxation under PwD/PwBD category)
- A simple transparent ball point pen.
-Report to the examination center at least 2 hours before the commencement of the examination.
-Take your seats immediately after the opening of the examination hall. Candidates should find and sit in their allocated seats only.
-The candidate must show the admit card in the examination room/ hall.
-Candidates who do not possess valid admit card and ID card will not be permitted to take the examination
-Candidates may approach the invigilator in the room for any technical assistance
-Candidates are not allowed to carry instruments, geometry or pencil boxes, handbags, purses, any kind of paper/stationery/textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phones/earphones/microphones/pagers, calculators, DocuPens, slide rules, log tables, cameras, tape recorders, electronic watches with calculator facilities, or any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices in the examination hall/room.
