A Delhi surgeon has been detained in connection with the Red Fort car blast. Dr Sajad Malla, a resident of Pulwama, was detained on Tuesday afternoon,
as probe into the blast intensifies. Malla, 30, was detained from Pulwama for questioning. He works at a hospital in Delhi. His father, Nazir Ahmed Malla, works with the local municipality. Twelve people were killed and over 20 others injured after a blast ripped through a moving car outside the Lal Qila Metro Station. The Hyundai i20 had three occupants, with the driver being named as the mastermind of what the Delhi Police is now calling as a "fidayeen" or suicide attack.
