In a landmark move that signals its arrival on the global stage of business education, Bennett University’s School of Management has officially joined
the AACSB Business Education Alliance. The membership certificate was formally presented by Mr. Prathap Das, Regional Head for South Asia at AACSB International, in a ceremony held on campus on January 19, 2025. This milestone marks the inaugural step of Bennett University's ambitious pursuit of full AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation, an elite distinction held by fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide. Widely regarded as the gold standard of business education, AACSB accreditation is the most recognized form of specialized auditing a business program can undergo. By joining the alliance, Bennett University has committed to a rigorous process of self-evaluation and continuous improvement. "Joining the AACSB Business Education Alliance is a testament to our dedication to delivering world-class business education," said Dr. Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor of Bennett University. "This membership not only validates our current efforts but also propels us forward, enabling us to benchmark globally against the best and continuously improve our programs to meet the evolving needs of industry and society." As an AACSB business member, Bennett University will have exclusive access to a network of over 1,900 institutions across more than 100 countries, offering resources, best practices, and collaborative opportunities to elevate teaching, research, and societal impact. During the event , Mr. Das engaged with faculty members and university leadership in an insightful briefing session. He outlined the rigorous AACSB standards, detailed the accreditation processes and timelines, and highlighted the substantial benefits available to member schools, including professional development programs, data-driven insights, and enhanced international visibility. Mr. Das commended Bennett University's proactive approach, stating, "We are delighted to welcome the School of Management at Bennett University into our alliance. Their enthusiasm for quality enhancement and strategic vision align perfectly with AACSB's mission to transform business education for a better world. We look forward to supporting them every step of the way toward accreditation." As part of a broader array of initiatives at both the school and university levels, this move aligns with Bennett's ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality, innovation, and prepare students for leadership roles in a dynamic global economy.
