has been making rounds on social media, showing a luxury car in blue and silver colour, standing still in the middle of the waterlogged road. The video shows the car being stranded, not able to move on the flooded road, while other vehicles pass by. Moreover, branches of leaves were seen on the car. The video was shared with a caption, "Situations like these make you wonder for what do we pay so much road tax when the roads themselves are non-existent."

One of the users wrote, "Alto 800 laughing in a corner." While another said, "Lord Alto Zindabad", referring to a cheaper car that could have suited the Kolkata roads better during these heavy rains.

Heavy rain hit Kolkata, leaves 10 dead
As Kolkata woke up to chaos on Tuesday after six hours of heavy rain, ten people lost their lives in rain-related incidents, including electrocution.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim have appealed to residents to stay indoors, with the Mayor warning that restoring normalcy would take at least 12 hours.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the low-pressure zone is likely to persist for the next 24 hours, meaning the city isn’t out of the woods yet.
