Bengaluru: A Bengaluru-based startup co-founder has gone viral after sharing how he used artificial intelligence to automate his daily food and grocery
orders on Swiggy, removing the need for repeated manual ordering. In a post on X, Neil Agarwal, co-founder of Refix Analytics, revealed that he connected the food delivery platform to an AI assistant called Clawdbot to manage routine orders. Sharing his experience, Agarwal wrote, “Connected Swiggy to Clawdbot and automated my biggest headache.” Daily Chai Orders Placed Automatically at 5 pm He explained that the AI assistant understands his daily schedule and food habits. According to Agarwal, Clawdbot now automatically places a chai order every day at 5 pm, builds grocery carts for meals he plans to cook, and even suggests dinner options based on his cravings. Highlighting how easy the process was, Agarwal added, “Setup takes - 1 minute. Just ask clawdbot to set up the swiggy skill I've published, everything else runs on autopilot!” Along with the post, Agarwal shared screenshots showing how the AI assistant works before placing an order. The images showed Clawdbot generating a detailed order summary, including item-wise pricing, delivery charges, taxes and the final payable amount. In the example shared, the total order value came to Rs 160, with cash on delivery selected. The assistant also alerted the user that the order could not be cancelled once placed and asked for explicit confirmation before proceeding. After receiving approval, Clawdbot completed the transaction and displayed a confirmation message. The post sparked mixed reactions online. While some users raised questions about privacy and automation, many praised the idea as a useful everyday application of artificial intelligence. One user commented, “Oh this is super smart! This is what I want AI to do, solve my real day-to-day problems/do a part of my household chores.” Another user wrote, "Finally some real life usecase for clawdbot!"
