The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the tentative examination schedule for CRP for PSBs & RRBs (2026-2027). The examination dates
have been released for several exams such as PSBs – Public Sector Banks, CRP PO/MT-XVI – Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees, CRP SPL-XVI – Common Recruitment Process for Specialist Officers, CRP CSA-XVI – Common Recruitment Process for Customer Service Associates, RRBs – Regional Rural Banks, CRP RRBs-XV (Officers Scale I, II & III) – Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks Officers Scale I, II and III, CRP RRBs-XV (Office Assistants) – Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks Office Assistants. The PSBs recruitment under CRP PO/MT-XVI will have its preliminary examination on 21 and 22 November 2026, followed by the main examination on 20 December 2026. The CRP SPL-XVI (Specialist Officers) will be conducted as a single/main examination on 20 December 2026, with no preliminary exam. For CRP CSA-XVI (Customer Service Associates), the preliminary examination is scheduled for 6, 12 and 13 December 2026, while the main examination will be held on 30 January 2027.

Similarly, for RRBs under CRP RRBs-XV, the preliminary exam for Officer Scale I is set for 21 and 22 November 2026, whereas Officer Scale II and III will be selected through a single examination on 20 December 2026. The Office Assistants preliminary exam will take place on 6, 12 and 13 December 2026, and the main examination is scheduled for 30 January 2027.
Steps to register for IBPS exams
Step 1: Register online
Candidates must complete the registration online only. A single registration will be valid for both the Preliminary and Main examinations, wherever applicable.
Step 2: Upload required documents
Upload the following documents strictly as per the specifications mentioned in the notification:
Photograph: 20 kb to 50 kb, in .jpeg format
Signature: 10 kb to 20 kb, in .jpeg format
Thumb impression: 20 kb to 50 kb, in .jpeg format
Handwritten declaration (as per prescribed format): 50 kb to 100 kb, in .jpeg format
Step 3: Check photograph requirements
Ensure the uploaded photograph is a recent passport-size colour photo and is clearly visible.
Step 4: Upload live photograph
Capture and upload a live photograph during the application process using a webcam or mobile phone.
Step 5: Verify signature guidelines
Make sure the signature is clearly visible and not written in capital letters.
