What is the story about?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications for the Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate (CUET-PG) from today, December 14, 2025.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/, until January 14, 2026. According to the official schedule, CUET PG 2025 will be conducted for 157 subjects in March 2026 at various examination centres across 292 cities, including 16 cities outside India. Candidates must not wait until the last moment to apply for the exam. CUET PG 2025 Important Dates Refer to the table below to check the schedule:

How to Apply for CUET PG 2026
Follow the steps below to apply for the exam:
- Visit the official website: exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg
- On the homepage, click on the CUET PG registration 2026 link available
- Complete the registration and then log in
- Fill out the application form
- Upload relevant documents and pay the fee
- Submit the form and take a printout
Note: The candidate can provide a maximum of 02 cities as options based on the present and permanent address of the candidate.
“Though every effort will be made to allot a centre in one of the cities selected by the candidate, the NTA reserves the right to allot a city to the candidate other than the options opted by the candidates due to administrative reasons,” the official notice added.
How Many Candidates Registered Last Year?
Last year, over 6 lakh candidates applied for the exam, of whom 5,23,032 appeared for it. The overall attendance stood at around 80%.
