‘Mesmerised’ is hardly a word that comes to mind after seeing an animal. Mostly, it’s a creature’s cuteness or ruthlessness that stands out for humans.
However, when this monkey began to go viral on social media, the internet couldn't help but fall for its ‘beauty’, after getting absolutely ‘mesmerised’ by it! A video was recently shared on social media, which showed a woman losing her mind after spotting a monkey that almost looked too unreal to be real. Turns out, it was a Douc Langur, one of the rarest monkeys in the world. The rare primate was spotted in Singapore. From its colorful and rather ‘well-matched’ fur to a ‘cute face’, the animal was surely one of a kind. As soon as the clip went viral, netizens began to react. Most found the monkey one of the most unique animals they have ever seen, while others couldn't believe that it was real. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “Douc Langur. The world’s RAREST monkey. If you’re lucky, you can spot this guy in the wild in Danang, Vietnam, OR do what we did and go to Rainforest WILD Asia at @mandaiwildlifereserve in Singapore to find them,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle 'hangrybynature’. The post was shared a while back and pulled more than 770K views from people.
Internet's reactions:
