It has been nearly two months since Dhurandhar was released on December 5, 2025, yet its craze continues to dominate social media even today. With the
second part of the film scheduled to release in March 2026, excitement among fans shows no signs of slowing down. Amid the ongoing Dhurandhar frenzy, a video has gone viral showing a man bearing an uncanny resemblance to Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, from the film, sending the internet into a frenzy. The video was shared on Instagram by a user identified as Rimi Chowdhury and captioned, “Sorry? Is that you @ranveersingh?” In Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh portrays Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian spy who infiltrates Pakistani gangster groups using his striking appearance. His character is defined by long hair, a thick moustache, and a muscular physique. In the viral clip, the woman filming shows a man sitting at the back of a truck, sporting long hair and a moustache, closely resembling Ranveer Singh’s look from the film.
Adding to the buzz, the video was uploaded with background music from Dhurandhar, further amplifying comparisons. As soon as the clip surfaced online, netizens were quick to notice the uncanny resemblance.
One user commented, “OMG, original Hamza.” Another wrote, “Bro spotted real-life Dhurandhar.” A third remarked on the man’s looks, saying, “Find him, groom him, train him, take him to the ramp and make him walk—he’s in the wrong place.” Another user added, “But doesn’t he look cool? Ranveer has to spend crores to get that look.”
However, not all reactions were positive. A section of users criticised the uploader for recording and sharing the video without the man’s consent. One user pointed out, “Privacy and consent left the chat.”
Overall, most reactions centred on the man’s striking resemblance to Ranveer Singh’s character, making the video yet another viral moment in the ongoing Dhurandhar wave.
