Ajit Pawar. Reportedly, a plane crashed in Maharashtra's Baramati early Wednesday morning, January 28. According to Times Now sources, the NCP leader was also onboard the aircraft, with 4 others. As per ANI, all 5 lost their lives in the crash, including Pawar. The NCP leader was 66 years old. Soon after the crash, the fire crews were seen at the crash site. As per preliminary reports, the plane crashed after an accident occurred while it was landing; however, the exact cause of the crash is yet to be investigated by the authorities. Rescue operations have been launched. The fire crew, on the other hand, is securing the area and managing the situation. As per Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the plane had 5 people on board, including Pawar, along with 2 more personnel (1 PSO and 1 attendent) and 2 crew (PIC+FO) members. A video of a crashed plane was also shared on social media, which is going viral.
