Mumbai University has postponed the exams that were scheduled on August 19 (Tuesday) due to heavy rain alert in the city. As per the official notification,
the exams have been rescheduled to August 23. In an official statement, the University stated that the exams stated for Tuesday have been cancelled to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to students who might have had to travel long distances during the heavy rains. "The rescheduled date for these exams is now August 23, 2025, and they will be held at the originally planned times," said the statement. (Semester 2), B.P.Ed. (Semester 2), B.Pharm. (Semester 2), M.Pharm. (Semester 2), M.Ed. (Semester 2), M.Com. (E-commerce, Semester 4), M.A. (CDOE), B.E. (Computer Science & Design, Automation and Robotics), and others. Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) also announced a holiday for primary and secondary schools in Mumbai on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
