What is the story about?
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today opened the portal through which students can apply for re-evaluation and also get photocopy of their
answer sheets. While CBSE is claiming that the portal is working normally, students are complaining that they are unable to login to the portal. Students are complaining that they are not being able to login to the portal as they were stuck at 'processing' for login. Some also complained that they were unable to register because the CAPTCHA code is not visible. "While registering on CBSE official website to apply for the answerbook of Class 12th , i am unable to register because the captcha is not visible not a single time but multiple times," an 'X' user 'Abhishek' stated.
Another user complained that it took them over 45 minutes to register for the re-evaluation process. "What a seamless service by cbse. Just over 45 minutes to just register for reevaluation still not past registration. You will put IRCTC to shame," said the X user.
"Here is the link to your joke called Digital India. Requesting @narendramodi to take us back to paper India," another X user commented.
"@cbseindia29 really thought we wouldn't catch them fully "vibe- coding an official portal" aww cbse but should've checked upon the backend as it keeps on collapsing with captcha loops, login errors and refreshes after every 3 seconds," another X user alleged.
"CBSE revaluation page is a masterpiece of chaos — captcha doesn’t show up, login is a lottery, and if you win, the dashboard refuses to open. Bravo CBSE, truly user‑friendly!" another user tweeted.
However, speaking to PTI, CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said he had received "a few" phone calls in the morning from students who were unable to log in, but no complaints were reported thereafter.
As per the official schedule released by CBSE, students can request access to their answer sheets from May 19 to May 22. The process for verification of marks and re-evaluation applications will likely be held from May 26 to May 29. Students can apply through cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.gov.in.
