A small aircraft crashed near Rio Linda Boulevard and Claire Avenue in Sacramento. The plane went down on the east side of Marysville Boulevard. Two people
were critically injured in the crash near an elementary school in North Sacramento. An alert posted on X stated, “SACRAMENTO, CA | AIRCRAFT CRASH | RIO LINDA BOULEVARD & CLAIRE AVENUE | SMALL AIRCRAFT DOWN ON THE EAST OF MARYSVILLE BLVD. QUICKLY EXTRICATED 2 PATIENTS. FUEL LEAKING FROM THE AIRCRAFT WITH SOME SMOKE SHOWING.”
Details Of Incident
The Sacramento Fire Department received the emergency call at around 12.30 pm. Firefighters arrived at the spot and found the aircraft down on the east side of Marysville Boulevard.

According to local media reports, both passengers needed extrication to safely get out of the plane. Fire crews provided medical care at the site before transporting the two patients to a nearby hospital.
Officials reported that fuel was leaking from the plane, and light smoke was visible from the aircraft. Firefighters controlled the area to prevent any fire and ensure the safety of nearby homes, drivers, and school children.

The cause of the crash is not yet known. Police temporarily closed parts of Rio Linda Boulevard and surrounding streets while emergency crews worked. Authorities have asked the public to avoid the area until the investigation and cleanup are complete.
