For the next 9 days- India will become one of the most happening nations in the country. One of the most awaited Hindu festivals- Navratri- is back, and
celebrations, devotion, festivities and such are all that are on the way to take over every nook and corner of the country. The 9-day festival began today, September 22 and will culminate on October 02. With Navratri enthusiasm at its peak, the internet is also witnessing an ocean of excitement among all. Amid all the reactions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rather 'musical greeting’ somewhat stood out the most. Calling the festival all about ‘pure devotion’, the PM appreciated people who have managed to ‘encapsulate’ devotion through soulful renditions. Further encouraging devotees to try something similar, the PM also shared a soothing devotional track by Pandit Jasraj. The devotional song in question is a beautifully sung rendition of ‘Devi Stuti’. PM Modi further asked netizens to share more of such pieces, as he is planning to post the same in the coming days. Navaratri is one of the biggest Hindu festivals, which is celebrated every year. The festival honours goddess Durga. The festival is typically celebrated for 9 days- first in the month of Chaitra, and then again in the month of Ashvin.

“Modi ji, your nine days of fasting as a true devotee of Maa Durga is inspiring. I remember how you even slept on the floor for 11 days, following strict satvik penance, without onion, garlic and with meditation, ahead of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration,” a user said.
“Chandipath by the Legendary Birendra Kumar Bhadra is among my favourites,” suggested another person. “Navratri becomes more soulful when such renditions fill the heart with purity,” commented another person.
