Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed that its forces destroyed infrastructure and “important facilities” at four US military bases in Kuwait
and Bahrain during a joint missile-and-drone operation. The IRGC identified Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, along with Naval Support Activity Bahrain in Juffair and Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, as the four facilities targeted. There was no immediate US confirmation of the damage claimed by Tehran. The strikes were carried out jointly by the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force, according to a statement issued by the Iranian military organisation. Iran said missiles and drones were launched from “various parts of the country” hours after the latest American attacks on Iranian territory. The IRGC described the operation as the “first phase of the punitive response” against the United States.

IRGC Names Four US Bases In Kuwait And Bahrain
In Kuwait, the IRGC said its forces struck Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base. Camp Arifjan is a major American military facility in the country, while Ali Al Salem has been used to support US and coalition air operations in the region. Iranian claims that infrastructure at the installations was destroyed have not been independently verified.
The two other targets named by Tehran are in Bahrain, where the United States maintains a significant military presence. The IRGC claimed strikes against the Juffair facility, home to Naval Support Activity Bahrain and associated with the US Navy's Fifth Fleet presence, as well as Sheikh Isa Air Base. Iranian state-linked accounts have circulated footage and reports of attacks in Bahrain, but Washington has yet to confirm the scale of damage alleged by the IRGC.
The Iranian statement came after air raid sirens were activated in Bahrain and explosions were reported in Manama. Kuwait's military separately said its air-defence systems were intercepting “hostile missile and drone attacks”, without initially identifying the source of the incoming projectiles. Those official statements confirm an active aerial threat in both countries, but do not independently establish the IRGC's claim that important infrastructure at all four American facilities was destroyed.
'First Phase': Iran Threatens More US Bases
The reference to Mashhad is significant in the IRGC's account of the latest escalation. Iran claimed the bridge strikes were intended to overshadow funeral ceremonies for late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose burial in Mashhad was approaching when the Iranian statement was issued.
Big blow to Iran
Over 100 IRGC targets hit in ongoing strikes by the US Navy and Airforce in Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas, Sirik Island, Lavan Island & Bandar-e-Jask.

The IRGC tied its military response directly to those attacks. “In the first phase of the punitive response against the Americans who violated their commitments,” the force said, its Navy and Aerospace Force conducted a joint missile-and-drone operation against the four named bases. Meanwhile, the IRGC did not fall short of going beyond the immediate attacks and issued a broader warning to the US military, saying that if American strikes were repeated, Iranian responses would “expand to include other American bases throughout the region”.
