In the last few years, the ‘reputation’ of Uttar Pradesh has changed rather drastically– as far as ‘illegal encroachment’ is concerned. However, it seems
like despite authorities increasingly getting rid of such miscreants, innocents are still suffering. A spine-chilling incident recently came forward, which was shared by a Prayagraj man. As per the man- Mohan Gautam- “over 50” people “broke walls, locks, and CCTV” to enter his house illegally in Uttar Pradesh. The man further claimed that his “elderly mother” got “locked out of the house and got harassed” during the incident. As per the post, the encroachers also “threw out tenants,” whereas the case is getting ignored as the “police have filed no FIR despite 112 calls.” However, the official handle of the UP Police did respond to the post, “@lkopolice - For Information & Necessary Action Please.” The video went viral in an instant, leaving netizens fuming. The incident not only raised safety alarms but also questioned “fear of law and order” among miscreants. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “Urgent SOS @lkopolice @myogiadityanath @myogioffice @prayagraj_pol @dgpup @CMOfficeUP @Uppolice @UjjwalMP 50+ illegally trying to encroach my house in Myorabad Prayagraj breaking walls, locks, CCTV! Reached out everywhere, no help. My mother is alone & scared. #UPPolice,” the post read. “Neighbours locked out my mother—alone outside! Threw out tenants, encroaching property. Police ignore us, no FIR despite 112 & Commissioner calls. @PrayagrajPolice ACT NOW! #UPPoliceHelp @Uppolice,” the post continued. “@DCPCityPrj @112UttarPradesh @Uppolice @IpsJogendra @dgpup CCTV recordings: Men with hammer & weapons + women entered when Mom left for 2 min. She's locked out, and harrassed. Need help getting back the possession. Till now Police has not been able to remove the intruders,” the post continued. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘m0han005’. The post was shared 2 days ago and pulled more than 1K views from people.

This is so sad, I hope the police do something soon,” a user said. “Did something happen? Police contacted you yet?” asked the next. “What is happening with India? People are not scared of law anymore,” added another.
