Mumbai Rains: Mumbai weather has wreaked havoc on Saturday, triggering a landslide in Vikhroli that claimed two lives. Several parts of the city, especially
low-lying areas, were submerged in waist-deep water, disrupting traffic. The downpour also reduced visibility on the runway at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), causing inconvenience to an IndiGo flight during landing. Meanwhile, Mumbai rain is likely to continue in Mumbai for the rest of the week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing an orange alert till August 19, following a red alert on Saturday.
