Meanwhile, Mumbai rain is likely to continue in Mumbai for the rest of the week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing an orange alert till August 19, following a red alert on Saturday.

Vikhroli Landslide
A landslide struck Jankalyan Society in Vikhroli (West) around 2:39 am, burying a hut under debris. Four family members were rescued; two—Shalu Mishra (19) and Suresh Mishra (50)—were declared dead.
