Authorities in the United States have released a new video timeline and a slightly clearer image of the man suspected of carrying out the Brown University
shooting. The manhunt was reignited after a previously detained “person of interest” was released, although investigators have not indicated any closer progress in identifying the real shooter. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the suspect. Meanwhile, investigators are canvassing homes, yards, and dumpsters across Providence, searching for clues that could help uncover who was responsible for Saturday’s campus attack, which left two students dead and nine others injured. Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha described the investigation as progressing "really well" while urging the public to remain patient in locating the suspected killer. Significant questions remain, particularly regarding the shooter’s motive. When asked about possible links to ethnicity, politics, or culture, Neronha said, "That is a dangerous road to go down."
