New Delhi: Amul has announced the updated rate list of its products on the eve when new GST rates will be implemented in the country, a move that was termed
as double Diwali bonanza by the government as it introduced its biggest ever GST overhaul. India's home grown dairy giant Amul announces the revised price list of more than 700 products, offering the full benefit of GST reduction to its customers, effective September 22, 2025, the date the revised GST rates come into effect. According to Amul, the revision is across the range of product categories like Butter, Ghee, UHT milk, Icecream, Cheese, Paneer, Chocolates, Bakery range, Frozen dairy and potato snacks, Condensed milk, Peanut spread, Malt-based drink etc. For example, some of the most commonly used everyday products such as milk, butter, ghee, Paneer, Ice Cream among many others will now be cheaper as these items will now attract a maximum of 5 per cent GST or nil.
After new GST rate implementation, 1 litre of tonned Milk will now cost Rs 75 instead of Rs 77. A 100 gms of butter will now cost Rs 58 instead instead of Rs 62. Amul Gold Standardised Milk 1 litre has been reduced to Rs 80.
Similarly, 1 litre of Ghee, which is currently being sold for Rs 650 will now cost Rs 610. Take a look at the new rate list of Amul products.
"Through this initiative, Amul continues to strengthen its legacy of serving consumers while sustaining the growth and welfare of farmers, ensuring that quality, affordability, and trust remain at the forefront of its operations," the statement added.
Amul has already taken the initiative to communicate the changes in prices to its trade partners including distributors, Amul Parlours and retailers across India, the statement added.
