Sanjay Dutt is back in the headlines and for something rather controversial this time around. The actor recently made an appearance on talk show hosted
by Shekhar Suman, for the production's Gandhi Jayanti episode aired on the weekend. Amidst candid conversation, the actor rather seriously plunged into a monologue expressing how proud he was of the country for its "large-hearted". This was however, right before he plainly expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of peace and harmony in the country. While this comment of his of course opened the doors for immense criticism online, especially given his checkered past, many even touched upon the fact that he had a right to express his take on the same because he too is a citizen in the country, something that comes prior to him being an actor. On that note, Dutt's last major release was the Ranveer Singh-led blockbuster Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. Here's taking a peek inside his posh Mumbai residence.
History Between the Plot and Pin Code
Dutt resides in a luxury high rise apartment by the name of Imperial Heights, with his wife, Maanayata Dutt and their twins Shahraan Dutt and Iqra Dutt, both 15 years of age. The posh apartment complex is located in the upscale and guarded Pali Hill neighbourhood of Mumbai's Bandra West locality. Incidentally, his sisters Priya and Namrata also own flats in the same building as per reports. Besides the stunning interiors, the most heartening aspect about Dutt's address is that the building stands on the same land where his late parents, legendary actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, once lived, in their sprawling erstwhile bungalow which went by the name of 'Ajanta'.

An Aesthetic Abode
Dutt's residence alone is believed to cost somewhere around ₹40 crores as per multiple reports. The aesthetic imprint of the space immediately gives off a modern, luxurious finish but the soft, old-world Bollywood warmth is unmissable in the glimpses available online. Dark mahogany work accents the walls while portraits and memories of his parents can be found intentionally placed around the house. Stark contrasts of white, worked into the modular build of the home reinstate the luxurious vibe as do the private rooftop gym area along ceiling-to-floor windows offering a generous view of the city. Whimsical, larger-than-life art fills up the walls of the house with warm light filling up the spaces in between. Finally, Buddha accents and a generous dose of red add a personal touch to the home.

Dutt's biopic Sanju doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of how truly the actor was emotionally dependent on his parents during his extended rough patch. Having settled back into normalcy, him living on the same plot his parents built their lives on, is maybe the most heartening aspect of this sleek residence. Besides the Mumbai home, the actor is also believed to be in possession of a Dubai getaway address, where he often jets off to with his family, to spend some quality time.
