The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) admit card 2026 soon. The Board has already released
the exam city slip, and candidates scheduled to appear in the exam can check their exam city now. One should know that city slips and admit cards are not the same thing. The city slip only informs about the city where candidates will appear, and admit cards will have details of the exam city, date and time, instructions, guidelines, and more. Based on past trends, the admit cards are released three to four days before the exam. Following the same pattern, the hall tickets will be released on or before February 5. CTET 2026 will be held on February 8 in pen-and-paper mode across 132 cities. Candidates should know that it is mandatory to carry a printout of the admit card to the exam hall. In case they fail to do so, they will not be allowed to appear in exam. Along with admit card, one should also carry a valid ID proof. CBSE will conduct CTET in two sessions on the same day. Paper 1 for those who will teach in classes 1 to 5, will be conducted between 9:30 am and 12:00 noon. The candidates will have to report at 7:30 am, and the entry gates will close strictly at 9:30 am. Paper 2 will be conducted between 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Reporting time for this shift is 12:30 pm, and gates will close at 2:30 pm.
