The Union Education Minister, Pralhad Joshi, today (October 1) held a meeting with the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and
the senior officials of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The meeting was conducted to review the preparations for the upcoming national-level examinations. In this meeting, Joshi emphasised the importance of examination security and improving candidate experience. "Convened a meeting with the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, @EduMinOfIndia and senior officials of @NTA_Exams. Reviewed preparations for upcoming national-level examinations, with a focus on strengthening examination security, improving candidate convenience, ensuring efficient conduct of examinations and enhancing coordination across the examination ecosystem. We also emphasized timely communication and a seamless experience for students and aspirants," Joshi tweeted through his official 'X' account.
This meeting comes a few hours after he held a meeting with senior officials of the Department of Higher Education to discuss matters concerning the higher education sector and assess key areas requiring focused attention. In this meeting, Joshi reiterated the importance of adapting, imbibing a culture of innovation and adopting student-friendly approaches.

The education minister also undertook the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 cleanliness drive at Gargi College, New Delhi. At this occasion, he also interacted with students including from the NSS, NCC and sports communities, and appreicated their enthusiasm and active participation.

"The energy and enthusiasm of the students reflected the true spirit of this movement and reaffirmed the vital role of youth in building a cleaner and healthier India."
