The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025 application process due to technical glitches.
As per latest update, the registration process for KSET 2025 is set to start at 11 am on September 1. Eligible candidates can fill out and submit their registration on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in "The process of online application submission for KSET 2025 could not be initiated today as well due to some technical issues," KEA posted on its official X account. The KSET 2025 paper is scheduled to be on November 2. The last date to submit KSET applications is September 18, and the last date to pay the application fee is September 19. KSET admit card 2025 will be released on October 24. KEA will conduct the KSET 2025 exam in 33 subjects. Last year, KSET 2024 was held in 41 papers. KSET is held for the appointment of assistant professors within the institutions, colleges, and universities in the state. Additionally, candidates who have previously qualified for KSET would not be allowed to apply for the same subject. However, if candidates are found eligible in a previous test and reappear for the same subject, their candidature will be rejected. The KSET application fee for general category candidates and applicants from other states in 2025 is Rs 1,000, meanwhile candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with disabilities (PwD) and transgender have to pay Rs 700 as application fee.
