The ‘panauti’ tag, that entrepreneur Prafull Billore- more popular by the name MBA Chai Wala- ended up earning in 2024, is seemingly not going away anytime
soon. Last year, the tag was about him ‘meeting cricketer Suryakumar Yadav’ and then the player ‘scoring only 6 runs’ in the T20 match- BUT this time, Billore seemingly went international- or is how netizens reacted. Currently, one of the worst news for most Indian techies is the order that US President Donald Trump passed on H-1B visas. As per the latest order signed by Trump, the H-1B visa petition fee has now been raised to USD 100,000. But why are we talking about these visas? Wasn't this about Billore’s ‘panauti’ tag instead? Well, that’s because it turns out that the internet went ahead and connected the entrepreneur with Trump’s decision! Days after his visit, Trump passed the H-1B visa fee order, which left many humorously connecting the two incidents. Netizens began to claim that it was Billore visiting the US that led to the country’s visa becoming costly for Indian techies. For those confused- all these connections are mere jokes.
Soon, the entire internet began to joke about the same, making Billore’s ‘panauti’ tag go viral again.

The order, on the other hand, came into effect on September 21, Sunday- from 12:01 am EDT. The move was reportedly to ensure that only the ‘most skilled’ foreign individuals take up American jobs in the future- by protecting American jobs. Reportedly, several US firms also asked their H-1B visa holder employees to return to the US before September 21- to avoid visa issues.
