Will India ever see its citizens gaining some ‘civic sense’? Judging by the incidents that are flooding social media these days– it seems like the answer
is a huge and saddening ‘no’. A video was recently shared online– that gave yet another reason to Indians question the very future of the young generation and the ‘behavioural lessons’ that our youth is learning. The clip showed three men ruining a hotel room- for no apparent reason. As per what was heard in the clip, they had booked a hotel room for Rs 500 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The trio stayed at the hotel; however, while leaving, the guests began to destroy the room. In the video, the trio was seen stealing the room's light bulb, along with one of them jumping on the bed with his shoes on. One of the three was also seen sweeping the floor with the blanket they used. The clip went viral in an instant, leaving netizens fuming. Most questioned their ‘civic sense’ while some demanded action. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “Do you expect civic sense from these illiterates? They rented a room in Agra and then, when leaving, what a mess they made. What kind of illiteracy they displayed,” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘gharkekalesh’. The post was shared 2 days ago and pulled more than 1K views from people.

“They just want the development in each section from the government with zero responsibility from their own side,” commented the next person. “The hotel owner should file a complaint in the Police Station for intensely destroying property,” wrote the next.
“Don’t say illiteracy and use English words and all. They are Ch*pris and they have Ch*pris traits in the blood,” wrote the next. “Nab them and assign their whole family sanitary worker duty for a week—cleaning the city. That'll teach them a lesson in a humiliating way,” added another.
