New Delhi: The national capital has been witnessing scattered showers over the past few weeks, and similar weather conditions are likely to continue over the next
few days. Hence, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Delhi on Monday (September 14). The IMD's forecast for today reads, “Generally cloudy sky. A spell of very light to light rain at a few places during morning hours. Another spell of very light rain to light rain during afternoon to evening.” The maximum temperature is expected to be between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 23 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius. Delhi Weather Weekly Forecast In the upcoming week, the IMD has predicted mixed weather conditions, with rain expected on some days and no rain forecast on others. On September 15 and September 16, the IMD has predicted very light to light rain. The forecast reads, “Generally cloudy sky. A spell of very light to light rain at a few places during forenoon to afternoon.” The maximum temperature is expected to be between 31 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 22 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius. Later, on September 17, September 18 and September 19, the IMD has predicted no rain, with the forecast reading, “Partly cloudy sky.” The maximum temperature is expected to be between 33 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 22 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius. And on all of these days, the IMD has issued no weather alerts or any such rain warnings. Meanwhile, the weather system is expected to remain active across several parts of the country, with the IMD forecasting rain, thunderstorms and strong winds in multiple states. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha and parts of Karnataka may see showers accompanied by gusty winds, while heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
