OpenAI has dropped two new GPT models, GPT 5.4 mini and GPT 5.4 Nano, in the Indian market. As stated by OpenAI, the models are pretty capable. They pack
almost all the benefits of the GPT 5.4 but are lighter than the former. The models have been specially designed for instances where speed and responsiveness are non-negotiable. The models fit perfectly when used as automated workflows, coding assistants, and even making images in real time. Starting with GPT 5.4 Mini, it is being showcased as a powerful option among the two. It packs multiple improvements in departments like tool usage, reasoning, coding, and multimodal reasoning. As said by OpenAI, the ChatGPT 5.4 mini can run two times faster than its predecessors. And the model was able to clock a performance pretty close to that of the larger GTRA 5.4 models. Coming to GPT 5.4 nano, it is being positioned as the smallest and most affordable version in the GPT 5.4 lineup and has been designed for tasks where speed and cost are important. According to OpenAI, the model can be used for tasks like data extraction, ranking, coding subagents, and classification. ChatGPT Paid Subscription Plans May Get Costlier Soon?
