JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the All-New MG Hector at Rs Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Hector aims to attract both first-time SUV
buyers and families looking for a feature-rich, value-for-money upgrade in the mid-size SUV segment. Looks The All-New MG Hector looks more confident and premium than before. The biggest visual highlight is the new Aura Hex Grille, which uses a bold hexagonal pattern to give the SUV a strong road presence. This is complemented by the redesigned Aura Sculpt front and rear bumpers, which make the Hector appear wider and more muscular. MG has also introduced Aura Bolt alloy wheels which adds a sporty touch even when the vehicle is standing still. MG has also added two new exterior colours - Celadon Blue and Pearl White. The 5-seater variant comes with a Dual Tone Ice Grey cabin that feels clean, modern and tech-focused. Meanwhile, the 6- and 7-seater versions get a Dual Tone Urban Tan interior, designed to create a warm and luxurious atmosphere for families. Comfort has clearly been a priority. Features like front ventilated seats, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, tilt and telescopic steering and premium leather touches across the dashboard and doors make long journeys more relaxing. MG has also added Hydra Gloss finish accents that improve durability while enhancing visual appeal. Technology One of the biggest highlights of the All-New Hector is its 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen, which is the largest in its segment. It now gets Smart Boost technology, which improves processing speed for a smoother and faster user experience. Making things even more intuitive is the first-in-segment i-SWIPE Touch Gesture Control, allowing users to operate AC, music and navigation with simple two or three finger swipes. Other smart features include a Digital Bluetooth Key, key sharing, remote AC control, predictive maintenance alerts, and a fully digital instrument cluster. Together, these features make the Hector feel more like a connected smart device than just a car. Safety, Performance and Benefits Safety has also been strengthened with features like a 360-degree HD camera with wheel view, ABS, EBD, ESP, traction control, hill hold assist and brake assist. Powering the SUV is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 143 PS and 250 Nm, and is available with both manual and CVT gearboxes. To make ownership easier, MG is offering 100% on-road price funding, accessory financing, and its MG SHIELD 3+3+3 package, which includes a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, roadside assistance and labour-free services.
