The F450 GS will serve as a new entry point into BMW’s GS family, replacing the G310 GS. The motorcycle is expected to feature a host of segment-first features. Among the standout highlights will likely be a semi-automatic gearbox, likely similar to the Automated Shift Assistant offered on the R1300 GS.This system allows you to toggle between automatic gear shifts and manual control, eliminating clutch use. A quickshifter will also be offered. Multiple riding modes are expected as standard. Other rider aids could include switchable ABS, traction control, and ride-by-wire throttle.

Recently leaked patent images reveal that the BMW F450 GS draws significant design cues from the flagship R1300 GS. Ergonomics appear to be geared toward long-distance comfort, with upright handlebars and neutral footpeg positioning.On the technology front, the motorcycle is likely to be equipped with a full-colour TFT display offering smartphone connectivity and navigation support.
