Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Ninja ZX‑6R in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.69 lakh, making it a little dearer over the outgoing model. The ZX‑6R comes
dressed up in a refreshed Lime Green paint job with new blue and white graphics, but carries over all major mechanics and electronics intact. The deliveries of the Kawasaki bike are expected to start in the first week of September itself. This update helps keep the Ninja ZX‑6R relevant against other bikes in India’s mid-capacity supersport segment, while retaining its performance DNA. For 2026, Kawasaki dresses up the ZX‑6R with stunning new graphics on that legendary Lime Green body, accented by exciting blue and white pops across the fairing. Mechanically, the ZX‑6R stays as is with no changes. It still runs on a robust 636 cc inline-four, liquid-cooled engine throwing out 127 hp with ram air (or 122 hp without) at 13,000 rpm, coupled with peak torque of 69 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The Ninja ZX-6R carries a pressed aluminium perimeter frame, which is light and race-inspired. Supporting it are Showa USD front forks and an adjustable Uni-Trak monoshock at the rear. Braking duties lie with twin 310mm front discs with a single 220mm rear disc, adding up to very keen stopping power for this high-performance motorcycle. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod in rubber sized at 120/70 front and 180/55 rear.In terms of electronics, you get amenities such as a 4.3-inch TFT display, many ride modes (Sport, Rider, Road, and Rain), traction control, dual channel ABS, and a quickshifter.
