Tesla is set to open its second showroom in India on August 11, 2025, at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, New Delhi. Following the launch of its first retail outlet
in Mumbai on July 15, the Delhi showroom will serve as both a display and customer experience centre. The Model Y SUV will be the first vehicle showcased at the new showroom. Priced at Rs 60 lakh for the rear-wheel-drive version and Rs 68 lakh for the long-range variant, the Model Y will be sold in India as a completely built unit (CBU). These prices reflect the country’s high import duties. For comparison, the same vehicle starts at $44,990 (approximately Rs 37.5 lakh) in the United States. Tesla is importing the Model Y units from its Gigafactory in Shanghai, which supplies several international markets. So far, six units have been brought into India for display and test drives at the Mumbai location. The company has also invested in supercharger infrastructure and related equipment to support its operations in the country.
