The car also supports DC fast charging up to 100kW, which can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in around 39 minutes. Safety One of the strongest points of the HTK Plus variant is safety, as Kia is offering six airbags as standard, along with ABS, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), hill-start assist, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and all-four disc brakes. Features and Interior Even though it is the base model, the Carens Clavis EV HTK Plus does not feel bare, as on the outside, it gets Star Map LED DRLs, ice-cube LED headlamps, 16-inch glossy aero alloy wheels, roof rails and a shark fin antenna. From the inside, the cabin uses a dual-tone black and beige theme with premium fabric and semi-leatherette combination seats. Comfort is enhanced with roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third rows, which is a big plus in Indian summers. You also get a digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and five USB Type-C charging ports. There are also paddle shifters to control regenerative braking and i-Pedal driving. The Kia Carens Clavis EV HTK Plus is all about value and practicality. It skips luxury features found in higher variants but delivers the essentials like good range, strong safety, decent performance and family-friendly space.
