Ducati has launched their powerful adventure machines the new 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S in India. These aren’t just regular motorbikes; they are designed
to take on highways, mountains, and even tough terrains with ease. The new Multistrada lineup is priced from Rs 22.98 lakh to Rs 30.18 lakh (ex-showroom) and is now available at Ducati dealerships across India.
Engine and Efficiency
At the core of the Multistrada V4 is a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, which produces 167.6 bhp and 123.8 Nm torque, making this bike immensely powerful. Despite this power, the brand has made it smarter with extended cylinder deactivation technology, which can reduce fuel use by up to 6% and give more riding range.Servicing has been made practical too as the major service is only needed every 60,000 km, and oil service every 15,000 km or 24 months.
Handling
A highlight feature is the Automatic Lowering Device, which can adjust and lower the bike’s height by 30 mm at slow speeds or while stopped, making it easier to handle for riders of different heights or terrains. The V4 S variant goes a step further with semi-active suspension, known as Skyhook DSS EVO, that adjusts in real time, credits to a new fork-mounted sensor. It also has self-levelling suspension to balance the bike automatically when carrying a passenger or luggage.
Rides
Ducati has packed the Multistrada with safety technologies usually seen in cars, like:- Adaptive Cruise Control & Blind Spot Detection with the use of front and rear radars.
- Forward Collision Warning alerts you if you’re getting too close to another vehicle.
- Ducati Brake Light flashes indicators during emergency braking.
- Electronic combined braking system that balances braking force based on load.
- The Lighting of this superbike also gets smarter with upgraded cornering lights and a Coming Home function that keeps the headlight ‘on’ briefly after switching off the ignition.
Riding Modes
This superbike has five riding modes, including Enduro Mode which limits power for better off-road control and Wet Mode which is specially designed for slippery roads. These modes adjust traction, wheelie control, and ABS to suit different roads and conditions.Looks and Features
Ducati has given the Multistrada V4 a more sportier design, which is inspired by its Panigale superbikes. The front panels and silencer are redesigned with sharper styling. On the technology side, the 6.5-inch TFT display now has a simpler interface for suspension, heated grips, and seat adjustments. With Ducati Connect, riders can now use navigation, phone calls, and music directly through helmet intercoms.
