The next-generation Audi Q3 has been spotted testing on Indian roads, pointing to a likely launch sometime in 2026. Multiple spy sightings hint that Audi India is
evaluating the third-generation Q3 for the local market. As one of Audi’s most accessible SUVs in India, the Q3 plays a key role in the brand’s lineup. The upcoming model is expected to bring visible design changes, updated interiors, as well as revised powertrain options, which are in line with global updates. The 2026 Audi Q3 features a noticeably revised exterior. We can expect a sharper front fascia with slimmer LED headlamps and a wider single-frame grille. The bumper design appears more angular than the current model, aligning with Audi’s newer SUV styling. At the rear, updated LED taillamps and a redesigned bumper are visible. New Audi Q3: Engine Options And Mechanical Details
For India, Audi is expected to continue with petrol-only powertrains. The familiar 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine is likely to return, possibly with updated tuning to meet future emission norms. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive (AWD) could remain available on higher trims.
Talking about the global model, the petrol range begins with a 1.5-litre TFSI engine producing 148bhp. Then, there is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder variant that puts out 261bhp and 400Nm of torque. For those who want diesel option, there is a 2.0-litre TDI generating 148bhp and 360Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and front-wheel drive setup. There is also an e-hybrid option, which combines a petrol engine with an electric motor to churn out 268bhp and 400Nm. It houses a 25.7kWh battery.
