
This Independence Day, August 15, Mahindra is turning heads at its much-awaited Freedom_NU event, laying out an ambitious roadmap for the future of mobility.
The biggest reveal? The Mahindra Vision.T has made its global debut today. Smooth, daring, and filled with creativity, it takes a big step forward in Mahindra’s SUV series. Alongside impressive concepts as the Vision.S, Vision.X, and Vision.SXT, the Vision.T is looks like a showstopper. With aggressive design, innovative features, and the feel of a premium brand, this concept clearly shows what is Mahindra’s vision for its SUVs in the future. Mahindra Thar Vision.T: All Key Details
The Mahindra Vision T Concept is an evolutionary product it has come up from the Thar.e concept first showcased in August 2023. The “T” in its name signals that this concept is a preview of a forthcoming model in the Thar lineup. The SUV retains some on-display rugged attributes, broad square-profile bonnet and chunky wheel arches with practical bonnet latches but there is something else too.A split grille and horizontal slats reminiscing the Thar Roxx sit upfront flanked by headlamps which house a central square light further flanked by slim vertical elements on each side. This unique lighting signature continues toward the rear tail-lamp design as well. To underline its adventure-ready persona plus credentials, the Vision T carries with it aggressive all-terrain tyres along with a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

Mahindra’s New NU.IQ Platform
Built on Mahindra’s new NU.IQ platform, the new SUVs are expected to deliver excellent off-road prowess with great approach and departure angles. The platform ensures a favourable 28-degree approach angle, 34.9-degree departure angle, and 28.2-degree ramp over angle. It sits high for a dynamic driving position behind the wheel, and is likely to offer up to 227 mm ground clearance as well—capable of more adventurous terrain.Covering varied bodystyles and segments, the newly unveiled concepts are expected to advance into four production models by 2027.
