Citroen has just officially teased the Aircross X SUV on its social media handles. Moreover, the bookings for the brand-new SUV are now open for a token
amount of Rs 11,000. The X nameplate is an update that follows C3 X and Basalt X, wherein enhancements are more features and cabin focused instead of mechanical. Teaser videos as well as first reports hint at a squared-off dashboard with a prominent freestanding touchscreen, cruise control, ventilated front seats, push start, wireless phone mirroring, and even a 360-degree camera option. The higher trims will most probably feature Citroen’s Cara voice assistant as well. Dealers will confirm to us the exact features in every variant plus the final pricing at launch. What's New: Features And Cabin Changes
The Aircross X update is primarily about the interior. Expect a new dual-tone dash, relocated HVAC controls, a slim freestanding infotainment screen, and new upholstery options. More top trims should add cruise control, ambient lighting, auto-dimming IRVM, keyless entry on doors, front seat ventilation, as well as an optional 360-degree camera. This is a package which essentially reflects the bells and whistles which came with the Basalt X. The teaser also hints at a striking new dark-green paint job and X badging on the tailgate.Citroen Aircross X: Expected Powertrain
Citroen is set to retain the Aircross’s mechanical specs. It will continue to carry a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine (manual only) and higher trims, supported by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol mill. The turbo petrol motor will be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque-converter automatic. Also Read: Victoris SUV Prices Revealed - Value For Money Maruti Suzuki Or Expensive 5-Seater?
