Harley-Davidson is gearing up to re-enter the entry-level motorcycle space with an all-new model, likely to be named the ‘Sprint’. Speaking during a recent
earnings call, Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz confirmed that the new model will be positioned below the $6,000 mark (aproxximately Rs Rs 5.24 lakh). This pricing strategy is aimed at making the brand more accessible to younger consumers. “This new bike embodies boldness, irreverence and fun, capturing the rebellious energy that defines the Harley-Davidson experience,” Zeitz said. The Sprint has reportedly been in development since 2021. It will be presented to Harley-Davidson’s global dealer network in October 2025, with its public unveiling expected at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan later that year. The official market launch is slated for 2026. The project marks a strategic pivot for Harley-Davidson, following the discontinuation of earlier entry-level models like the Street 750. Unlike its predecessor, the Sprint is part of a renewed push to establish a presence in segments where the brand has previously struggled. Zeitz highlighted the imortance of this shift, noting that a successful launch could open new business opportunities for Harley-Davidson, especially in markets outside North America. Further details about the Sprint's specifications and platform are yet to be revealed. (Source: VisorDown)
