is geared up to welcome five new models in the month of January itself. From an affordable 7-seater to the resurgence of a mid-sized SUV icon, here are five exciting launches that you can look forward to in January 2026. Mahindra XUV 7XO (700) Launch: The much-anticipated facelift of Mahindra's XUV 700 flagship is due to make its official unveiling on January 5. Now renamed as the XUV 7X0, the carmaker's ICE flagship will get a redesigned exterior and hi-tech upgrades inside the cabin. The 7XO will also be the first ICE Mahindra SUV to feature the triple-screen layout from the XEV 9e and 9S range of electric SUVs.
2. Tata Harrier Petrol Price Launch:
The Harrier petrol is part of Tata's gasoline offensive against its rivals in segments below and above the SUV. While all technical details about the Harrier Petrol are out, the official prices will be revealed on January 5.
3. Nissan Gravite Launch:
As part of its latest three SUV strategy, Nissan India is gearing up to launch the Gravite 7-seater MPV in the country in early January 2026. The Gravite will marks Nissan's entry into the affordable MPV segment, and the launch of its Tekton C-SUV will follow behind soon after.
4. Tata Safari Petrol Price Launch:
Just like the Harrier, the Safari petrol prices will also be announced on January 5. Once launched, the Safari petrol will take on the fight against other rivals that were offering both diesel and petrol engine options, while the Safari only had a diesel version.
5. New Renault Duster Launch:
Out of all five launches, the new Renault Duster C-segment SUV launch is the most anticipated. Due on January 26, the new Duster will take on segment leaders such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. A segment that the Duster had helped build in the initial phases.
