their efforts on a new front. This would be to ensure that their new models offer a high safety rating for both adult and child occupants. Maruti Suzuki, being the latest to join the safety rating bandwagon, has launched several 5-star rated cars in India, in relatively quick succession. Here are five Maruti Suzuki cars that offer a high safety rating score from Bharat NCAP.
1. Victoris SUV Safety Rating:
The all-new Victoris mid-size SUV was launched in early September 2025 with a 5-star crash safety rating from Bharat NCAP. It was later announced that the Victoris also gets a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.2. Invicto MPV Safety Rating:
The flagship MPV from Nexa is the latest to join Maruti Suzuki's fleet of 5-star crash safety-rated cars. It offers both petrol and hybrid powertrains and is Maruti Suzuki's most expensive offering right now.3. Dzire Sedan Safety Rating:
The top-selling Dzire sedan is also a 5-star rated vehicle when it comes to Bharat NCAP assessment. The new Dzire had also scored a 5-star crash safety rating in the Global NCAP tests at the time of its launch.4. Baleno Higher-Trim Safety Rating:
The Baleno high-trim with 6 airbags has a 4-star safety rating for adult occupants (26.52/32.00 score) and a 3-star safety rating for child occupants (34.81/49.00 score).
5. Baleno Lower-Trim Safety Rating:
The lower trims of the Baleno with 2 front airbags also have a 4-star adult and 3-star child safety rating; however, the scores are lower than the 6 airbag trims.
