Ampere, which is the electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility, has launched the Ampere Magnus G Max. The introductory price is set at
Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom) as the Magnus G Max aims to make electric mobility more accessible, practical and reliable. The Magnus G Max is positioned as a no-nonsense, daily-use electric scooter, as instead of focusing only on flashy technology or sporty performance, Ampere has focused on range, storage, comfort, durability and peace of mind. Ampere Magnus G Max - Design The Magnus G Max is equipped with a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery and to further boost confidence, Ampere is offering a 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty. The company claims a real-world riding range of over 100 km in Eco mode, however, on paper, the certified range goes up to 142 km. Charging from 20 percent to 80 percent takes around 4.5 hours. Ampere Magnus G Max - Performance Powering the scooter is a hub-mounted electric motor which produces 1.5 kW nominal and 2.4 kW peak output with the top speed of 65 kmph, which is ideal for city roads and keeps the scooter stable and efficient. Riders have an option to choose between Eco, City, and Reverse modes. Eco mode maximises range, City mode offers balanced performance, and Reverse mode makes parking and tight manoeuvres much easier. Ampere Magnus G Max - Comfort and Practicality One of the biggest highlights of the Magnus G Max is its 33-litre under-seat storage, which is among the largest in its segment. The scooter rides on a dual-frame chassis, has 165 mm ground clearance and is equipped with hydraulic telescopic front suspension and dual rear shock absorbers. Ampere Magnus G Max - Features The Magnus G Max comes with a 3.5-inch LCD digital instrument cluster, a USB charging port, LED headlamps, indicators and while optional connected features via a telematics control unit (TCU) are also available. The scooter is offered in three dual-tone colours which are Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green and Cinnamon Copper.
