
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the electric GLC with EQ Technology at the ongoing IAA Mobility show in Munich. This vehicle is based on the new MB.EA EV-first
architecture and delivers up to 713 km of WLTP-certified driving range from a 94 kWh battery pack. The interior houses Mercedes’ biggest-ever, single-screen unit, that measures a whopping 39.1 inches. It is called Hyperscreen and runs across the entire dashboard. Set for a global launch later this year, the GLC EV takes place as an important evolution within Mercedes’ electric vehicle offering. Mercedes GLC EV: Powertrain And Performance
The GLC 400 4MATIC will go on sale with two electric motors paired to an all-wheel drive (AWD) setup. This enables the car to make a whopping 483 hp of maximum power and run in excess of 210 km/h. The highlight of the interior is the 39.1-inch Hyperscreen, a single display that gracefully arches from pillar to pillar and thus forms a considerable departure from the multi-display setup of previous models. Mercedes GLC EV: Design, Space, And Features
Mercedes brings an electric GLC to the EQ lineup with the classic silhouette preserved but dramatic new details added at the front of the car with a grille that is, in fact, its light show illuminated by 942 tiny LEDs. Inside the headlights, star patterned DRLs further enhance the look; rear ends display a very slim lighting bar carrying similar motifs recalling CLA EV. A very subtle roof spoiler seamlessly integrated so optimised flow helps achieve a drag coefficient of just 0.26. Standard wheels are already pretty big at 20 inches but you can go even bigger with 21-inch alloy wheels for an even more commanding look.The GLC EV rides on a stretched wheelbase—95 mm longer than the ICE GLC—boosting interior and cargo space. It introduces a fully illuminated grille with 942 LEDs and offers tech like ambient lighting, wireless charging, and an S-Class-style air suspension as optional extras. You can also spot physical controls on the steering wheel and the console. Other cabin highlights include a digital instrument cluster, Artico/Nappa leather upholstery, and carbon fibre touches.
