Hero MotoCorp has announced significant price cuts across its motorcycle and scooter range following the implementation of the new GST 2.0 tax structure,
which comes into effect starting September 22, 2025. As per the revised regime, all two-wheelers with an engine capacity of 350cc or below have moved from the 28 percent tax bracket to the lower 18 percent slab. This 10 percent reduction directly translates into lower ex-showroom prices for most commuter and mid-capacity motorcycles and scooters sold in India. For Hero, the savings for customers range from a few thousand rupees to over Rs 15,000, depending on the model. The biggest relief comes on the brand’s larger-capacity motorcycles, particularly the Karizma 210, which now carries a benefit of up to Rs 15,743. Other models, such as the Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R, also see substantial drops of Rs 14,516 and Rs 14,055, respectively. The Glamour X and Passion+ models are down by Rs 7,813 and Rs 6,500, respectively. Hero’s entry-level HF Deluxe has also seen a price cut of Rs 5,805. On the scooter side, the Destini 125 is now cheaper by up to Rs 7,197, while the Pleasure+ and Xoom 110 see benefits of Rs 6,417 and Rs 6,597. The newly introduced Xoom 125 offers a reduction of Rs 7,291, while the larger Xoom 160 brings savings of Rs 11,602. In the 125cc sporty commuter category, the Xtreme 125R now costs up to Rs 8,010 less, and the Xtreme 160R 4V is down by Rs 10,985.
