Ducati has unveiled its latest beast- the Diavel V4 RS, which is a limited-edition power cruiser that has already earned the title of the fastest-accelerating
production Ducati. This bike isn’t just about style, but is about raw speed and MotoGP-inspired technology brought to the streets. The big change is at its heart. Instead of the standard Diavel’s 1,158cc engine, Ducati has fitted the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine from the Panigale V4 superbike, which means more power like 182hp at 11,750rpm, though torque is slightly lower at 120Nm. But the real stunner is its performance, as in testing with MotoGP legend Marc Marquez, the Diavel V4 RS went from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Ducati has also introduced a new Power Launch system, with three settings that control traction and torque delivery. And the best part is that even everyday riders, not just pros, can achieve lightning-fast drives thanks to this technology. The Diavel V4 RS isn’t just about speed. It is also loaded with electronic rider aids like Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Quick Shift 2.0, and four riding modes, which includes a Race Mode and a first for the Diavel. In Race Mode, the 5-inch TFT screen switches to show track-focused information, giving riders the full power racing experience. Looking at the hardware side, the bike is packed with premium kit, including Ohlins adjustable suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, carbon-fibre body parts, forged aluminium wheels, and a lighter battery. These changes make the RS 3kg lighter than the standard Diavel, weighing in just 220kg. The Diavel V4 RS will go on sale in the US in March 2026 at a price of $39,995, which is around Rs 35.2 lakh. Ducati has confirmed it will be a limited-run motorbike model, though the exact number of units hasn’t been revealed yet. For more updates on superbikes, stay tuned to Times Now Auto.
