What is the story about?
Porsche has brought its flagship performance icon back to Indian shores with the launch of the 2026 911 Turbo S, priced at Rs 3.8 crore (ex-showroom).
It’s the most powerful 911 ever to go on sale, and it arrives with a serious dose of hybrid technology and engineering wizardry that pushes the boundaries of what a modern supercar can do.
Underneath that familiar 911 silhouette lies an all-new 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged boxer engine, now paired with a compact 400V T-Hybrid system. The setup produces a combined output of 701 bhp and a staggering 800 Nm of torque, numbers that catapult the Turbo S into hypercar territory. The result? A blistering 0–100 km/h sprint in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h.

But it’s not just about straight-line speed. Porsche’s engineers have made sure the hybrid assistance works seamlessly, adding instant torque while keeping the trademark 911 balance intact. Around the Nurburgring, it’s a full 14 seconds faster than the previous model, clocking an astonishing 7 minutes and 3.92 seconds, despite weighing 85kg more due to its hybrid components.
To handle that kind of power, Porsche has introduced an electro-hydraulic chassis control system that continuously adjusts damping and roll stabilisation. Brakes are the biggest ever fitted to a 911, massive 420 mm discs up front and 410mm at the rear, while the rear tyres now wear a wider 325-section rubber for extra traction.

The exterior changes are subtle but effective. Traditional chrome elements are now replaced by unique Turbonite accents, giving the car a stealthy, modern edge. A titanium sports exhaust system shaves nearly 7 kg off the weight and produces a richer, more muscular tone.
Step inside, and it’s pure Porsche luxury with a motorsport twist. Carbon weave trims, Neodyme-colored stitching, and adaptive sport seats set the tone for a cockpit that feels both opulent and focused. The inclusion of a lap timer and advanced digital instrumentation rounds off the high-tech feel.
