December 2025 marked Kia India’s highest-ever monthly wholesales since it began operations in the country. The company more than doubled its dispatches compared to 8,957 units recorded in December 2024. According to the official data, the sharp year-on-year rise was supported by improved consumer sentiment and steady demand across urban and semi-urban markets. The December performance was also a key contributor to the brand’s overall annual growth in 2025.
Sonet And Seltos Drive Volume Growth
The Sonet continued to be a major volume driver, crossing the 1 lakh unit sales milestone for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position in the compact SUV segment. The Seltos also played a significant role, contributing consistent volumes in the mid-size SUV space. Alongside these models, vehicles such as the Carens, Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV saw positive customer response, supporting Kia’s overall sales performance through the year.
Annual Sales And Portfolio Impact
For the full calendar year 2025, Kia India recorded wholesales of more than 2.80 lakh units, up from around 2.45 lakh units in CY2024. This 15% growth was achieved through a combination of product updates, variant rationalisation across key models and the addition of newer offerings. Premium models such as the Carnival Limousine and EV6 also contributed by attracting buyers in higher price segments.
