Bookings for the new Octavia RS will open on October 6 for a limited duration. Interested buyers must secure their slot online, aligning with Skoda’s strategy to manage demand for the limited number of imported units. The new Octavia RS is going to be the first RS model in India since the last generation Octavia RS 245, which was also offered in limited numbers back in 2020 and sold out quite quickly.Legacy Of The RS Badge
Rally Sport, or RS, is where the badge carries everything that Skoda wants to deliver in its cars—engineering acumen and precision with a taste of motorsport. It was first brought to India in 2004 through the turbocharged Octavia RS, which quickly carved out quite a niche among driving enthusiasts. Subsequent updated versions—like RS 230 and RS 245 available later on further, enhanced the performance image, while still keeping within the realms of daily usability. Across global markets, it’s a red-and-black badge that speaks to assertive design language, powerful turbocharged engines, and advanced chassis setups tuned for razor-sharp driving thrills. Also Read: Hyundai Festive Offers: i20, Creta And More Get Discounts Up To Rs 5.05 Lakh
